Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome.
Forever Ferrets Rescue SA is a registered non-for-profit and a 'no-kill' welfare organisation run entirely by unpaid volunteers (and ferret owners). We provide rescue, adoption or sanctuary services to all ferrets that come into our care. Following any veterinary work and behavioural assessments, suitable ferrets will be adopted to loving homes, whilst those ferrets who are unsuitable for adoption are provided with a safe and forever home within our network of foster carers. Regardless of the circumstances the ferrets in our rescue are loved and live normal lives.
In addition to welfare and rescue services, Forever Ferrets Rescue offers several play-dates a year for fellow ferret lovers to gather and have fun. We provide training services and handling opportunities for veterinary students at the University of Adelaide Veterinary School and other major animal welfare groups in the Adelaide region. We have several social media pages where we offer unbiased information and support, and we are present at the Animal Expo and Royal Adelaide Show every year to share these beautiful little critters with the general public.
